Sponsor Carrier Program
Your Independent Contractors get the financing, the truck, and the maintenance.
You get an arm’s length transaction.
With CURE’s Sponsor Carrier Program, we provide the financing, the truck, and the maintenance to your Independent Contractors while providing you with an arm’s length transaction. Specs of the units are predetermined with you and the driver’s
P&L is reviewed to be sure the program can be successful. We only supply late model units (2006-2009) and the driver generally owns the unit in 30 to 48 months depending on year model. Under this program, the carrier provides weekly
settlement deductions to us for the lease payment and maintenance fund. Should the unit go unseated, we look to the carrier to reseat the unit with the next available driver. View more information on our ProCURE Advantage maintenance program.
How we do it
We work with our Sponsor Carriers to understand their truck spec requirements and their driver’s budget. Through our sister companies AmeriQuest Remarketing and NationaLease Remarketing, we source quality late model power units at affordable
prices. Each truck is professionally inspected, reconditioned, and brought to a like-new condition. In most cases, a one million mile warranty is also added to protect the asset.
Benefits:
- Provides necessary separation between carrier and independent contractor so that the contractor is buying the truck and financing directly with CURE versus the carrier providing the truck and/or financing.
- Very competitive lease payments and terms for independent contractors
- Reduces carrier administrative overhead
- Eases driver recruiting burden and improves driver retention as more drivers meet carrier’s criteria because they are able to obtain a truck and financing through CURE.
- Contractor builds equity in their truck – Contractor generally owns the truck in 24 to 48 months depending on year model
- Centralized maintenance management program:
- Relieves contractor and/or carrier of administrative burden of managing maintenance
- Significant cost savings to contractor on the purchase of parts and service
- Maintenance schedule monitored including scheduling of PM
It is our belief that our programs only work if all parties in the transaction are successful.
The Contractor
- The contractor must have a quality, well-conditioned asset that is well-maintained and protected from a catastrophic breakdown.
- The contractor must be associated with a well-established Carrier that has the systems and support in place to keep the Contractor productive.
- Finally, the Contractor must be in an asset that fits within a profitable budget.
The Carrier
- The Carrier must have a Contractor that is dependable with equipment that is reliable.
- CURE provides the Carrier the ability to grow their fleet without increasing debt or administration costs.
